Welcome to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church of Smithtown
St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church is a Reconciling in Christ congregation. We joyfully welcome all of God’s people to worship with us regardless of age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ability, or socio-economic circumstances
This is Christ’s Church
There is a place for you here. We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person—questions, complexities, and all. Join us as we do God’s work in Christ’s name for the life of the world.
Please Consider Helping
There has been an unfortunate incident in our Parish Hall. Due to the recent heavy rainfall, our Parish Hall has experienced significant flooding, resulting in damage to the lower three rooms in the building, including the flooring, walls, and some of our essential equipment.
As you know, the Parish Hall is a vital part of our church community, serving as a gathering place for nursery school and Sunday school. The damage caused by the flood is extensive, and we urgently need your help.
There are several ways you can help:
Volunteer Your Time: We will be continuing clean-up and repair efforts in the coming days. If you are able to spare some time to help with these efforts, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Donate Supplies: We need tools and other materials to aid in the restoration process. Any contributions in this regard would be very helpful. Please call either Eric (631-942-2076) or Steve (631-965-0019) if you have special equipment or expertise to offer.
Financial Contributions: If you are unable to help with labor, monetary donations to help cover the costs of repairs would be a tremendous help. You can make a donation directly to the church,
Prayer Support: Lastly, we ask for your prayers as we work through this situation. Your spiritual support is just as important as any physical or financial assistance.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our church. Together, we can overcome this challenge and ensure that our Parish Hall remains a place of fellowship and spiritual growth for all.
May God bless you and keep you.
